The Sicilian Defense

The Hyperaccelerated Dragon is a rare opening that begins with the moves 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 g6. This opening is a variation of the Sicilian Dragon, which is one of the most daring and double-edged openings in chess. After the standard opening moves of 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6, Black courageously allows White to construct an apparently formidable center with pawns on d4 and e4. However, Black then launches a fierce attack against White's central stronghold.
